Encouraging Insight Counseling Services, LLC is a mental health practice offering confidential counseling for individuals, couples and families from diverse backgrounds.

Therapeutic services are provided in a confidential, nonjudgmental environment and emphasize self-awareness and empowerment, with focus from a client determined perspective to foster inner growth, hope and healing.

Individual Counseling

Laura works in a one-on-one partnership with clients who are struggling with various life challenges. She recognizes the challenges many client's face when considering trusting another person with their concerns, realizing that the first call can be the most difficult.

Family Counseling

A family unit can be thought of as a system where two or more members are linked through blood, marriage, culture, or commonality, and have a collective desire to build a future together. The family can be weakened or strengthened through adversity, just as an individual can. When one member is facing a personal challenge there is a rippling effect throughout the entire family system.

Adolescent Counseling

Adolescents experience many physical, emotional and social changes as they grow from childhood to young adulthood. They develop their own opinions, begin to depend less on their parents, and are increasingly influenced by their peers. They become more concerned about the way they look and dress and they gain a stronger sense of right and wrong as they develop their own value system.

Coaching

Individual coaching is a highly personalized one-on-one partnership between a coach and a client. The coach and client work together to co-create an action plan for the future, with the coach asking powerful questions and the client deciding what they want to achieve. Such a close partnership allows for a strong bond and a concentrated ability for the client to grow and change.
